PAWA (formerly the West Australian Guild of China painters) launched their annual exhibition and sale of work on Friday 2nd May, 2025 at the Pines Community Centre in Subiaco.
The exhibition, which was this year held on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd May, was titled ‘Osmosis'. PAWA members were invited to paint an exhibition collection of up to seven pieces to interpret this theme. Members from both Metro and Country areas had work on display with a wide variety of both modern and traditional porcelain designs exhibited.
In addition to the theme exhibits there were several hundred pieces of hand painted porcelain and glass on display in a special sales section.
Congratulations to President Heather Tailor and all the team for a beautifully presented and very enjoyable event.

The PAWA award for the best collection in the exhibition section went to 'Homage to Karratha' a collection by Heather Tailor. Photo shown below.
The 2025 exhibition did not disappoint! PAWA members excelled with with superb work on display covering a wide range of subjects.
Despite the general election which was called for the Saturday of the exhibition, many people took the opportunity to visit and were generous with their praise of both the variety and high standard of the work on display.
Again, congratulations to the President and team for a beautifully presented and very enjoyable event.
