Following drinks and canapés the exhibition was officially opened on Wednesday evening. The porcelain exhibits were beautifully displayed and created quite a 'wow' factor.

There was a wide variety of subject matter with all States represented as well as exhibits from several overseas countries. There was en excellent display from the New Zealand contingent!

Shown on this page are several examples of porcelain pieces which I particularly enjoyed.

I was invited to present a mini half-day workshop during the Convention.

Effects that can be achieved using white relief on black and a true black relief on white were demonstrated. Also the use of Debbie Good's 'All Colour Relief' to achieve a truly black relief was shown.

Many techniques and products were used to create some interesting designs which were predominately black and white, with grey and gold highlights.
