My introduction to porcelain painting came in the early 1990s and I have been an enthusiastic china painter ever since!
Having the opportunity to travel through the Australian Outback, particularly remote regions of central and northern Australia has been a major influence on me and my work. I was also fortunate, during my years spent scuba diving, to experience and explore the fascinating marine environment off the Western Australian coastline, again a significant influence.
My work is exhibited mainly in Western Australia where I have received several trophies and awards. Included among them are a Best Exhibitor's Sash from the Perth Royal Show, Best Exhibit awards and President's Choice Award from the West Australian Guild of China Painters annual exhibitions and several President’s Trophies from the Wanneroo Agricultural Society’s annual shows.
Through my membership in the WA Guild of China Painters I participate in many local china painting events and I am the current President of the Guild.
I will next be exhibiting in the '5 Contemporary Onglaze Artists Exhibition' with Heather Tailor, Brenda Henderson, Gloria Paxman and Lucy Bertilone which will be held at the Guildford Village Potters Gallery between 23rd October and 21 November, 2010
Recent exhibitions include:

WA Guild of China Painters Annual Exhibition, May 2010
Wanneroo Agricultural Society’s Annual Show in November 2009
'Deliberately Decorative' Exhibition at the Guildford Village Potters Gallery held in May/June 2009. A joint exhibition with Heather Tailor, Gloria Paxman, Brenda Henderson and Lucy Bertilone.
